I'm an early-career journalist who loves learning about the issues people around me are passionate about. My Persian culture has made me who I am as a journalist, so I incorporated it through my work, exhibited through the logo on the top left of this site, which shows my name in Farsi and English, a multicultural symbol of my work and self.
I have experience reporting in several mediums, including podcasts, digital and print newspapers, photo and video. You can find my work in the Pioneer Press, the Minnesota Daily, MinnPost and the Brains On! podcast, where I have covered community initiatives, health disparities and breaking news, among other things.
I also have experience creating content calendars, multimedia posts and writing newsletters — and am interested in connecting with audiences across my work.
